Many people may think that there life is happy but there view of happiness is clouded by materialism and judgment that will make them happy for one moment in time but that type of happiness will quickly wash away. This type of happiness is what you can call fake and will not provide you with a very happy and meaningful life for an extended period of time.
If you really want to life a truly happy and meaningful life you need to forget about selfish principles and replace them with the following five.

The examples they set show that to live a happy in meaningful life you have to live simply with no extra materialistic things other than what is needed. They show that a good way to live a happy and meaningful life is to believe in god and to love everything and everyone. A good example is to be faithful to your friends and family and respect there decisions and judgment.
Some strategies that will help you live a happy and meaningful life include.
- Focus more on what you are truly grateful in your life like family, friends and a healthy body. while doing this you will in turn you will worry less about the things that you may lack
- Do not fear change welcome it.
- Try to ease out of materialistic desires such as money and expensive clothes.
- Always think positive this way it will be easier to trust others and be gentle.
- Never resort to violence and don't be afraid to walk away when things get uneasy.
- Don't be in a rush all the time, just try to calm down and relax.
- Hang out with positive people because the attitude of people around us can seriously affect us for the good or bad.
